This place is a good spot for exploring and staying in the area when I am there.

I like the owner Michael, he is personable and accommodating. As I have stayed a number of times over the years I have seen the improvements he has been making with the bathrooms. The suites are well priced for the area and having a simple kitchen helps with the overall cost of the stay.

Stayed for 2 days and did not want to leave there, I will be back. The hotel was a perfect place for enjoying a nice area, short walk to the center of the driveway and Powell River. Comfy units with bedroom, and the staff were great.

The motel was easy to find. It was close to town. Nice view of the bay. Staff was courteous.
The carpets smelled like urine. I asked the staff to bring something to get rid of the smell and he did and it helped.

It was very quiet and peaceful. The forest is behind it and the ocean view in the front. There is a nice grassy slope with chairs facing the ocean. Room was large and clean with a full kitchen. The owners were very friendly.
The bed was not great and the bathroom could use updating.

This hotel is a great value for money, offering affordable prices for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail can be seen in the cleanliness of the rooms and the well-kept grounds. The location, although not near the BC Ferries Westview ferry terminal, is only a short 5-minute drive away, making it convenient for transportation. The staff provides excellent service and ensures that basic amenities such as clean towels and sheets are provided.
Although there may be areas that could be improved, overall, everything was satisfactory.

our recent group stay at a retro motel in Powell River exceeded expectations. Friendly staff, budget-friendly, with a picnic area and nearby campsite. Clean rooms with a kitchenette made our stay comfortable. Highly recommended for a few nights!
Minor issue with a squeaky bed.
